CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE CHONBURI-RAYONG SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE

Abstract
This research aims to 1) study crisis management in schools under the Chonburi-Rayong Secondary Educational Service Area Office, 2) compare the level of opinions of personnel regarding crisis management in schools under the Chonburi-Rayong Secondary Educational Service Area Office, categorized by educational level, age, and school size, and 3) study the guidelines for crisis management in schools under the Chonburi-Rayong Secondary Educational Service Area Office The sample group for this research consisted of 353 administrators and teachers. The research instruments were a 5-level Likert scale questionnaire with a content validity index between 0.80 and 1.00 and an overall reliability coefficient of 0.90, and interviews. The statistical methods used to analyze the data included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test
The research findings revealed that:
- The overall level of crisis management in schools under the Chonburi-Rayong Secondary Educational Service Area Office was high.
- A comparison of opinions on crisis management in schools under the Chonburi-Rayong Secondary Educational Service Area Office, categorized by educational level and school size, showed statistically significant differences at the .05 level both overall and in specific aspects. However, when categorized by age, there were no significant differences both overall and in specific aspects.
- Crisis management guidelines for schools under the Chonburi-Rayong Secondary Educational Service Area Office include strategic planning, teaching and learning management, social and psychological support, and community participation.
