MANAGEMENT OF VOCATIONAL STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS IN COLLABORATION WITH BUSINESSES AND THE NAKHON RATCHASIMA PROVINCIAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION OFFICE

Abstract
This research aims to 1) study the management of vocational student internship programs with businesses in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and 2) compare the level of opinions of stakeholders regarding the management of vocational student internship programs with businesses in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, categorized by age, work experience, and position. 3) To study the guidelines for managing vocational student experience training in collaboration with businesses, the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Vocational Education Office used a sample group of 299 people, including administrators and teachers from vocational schools under the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Vocational Education Office and businesses collaborating with vocational schools under the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Vocational Education Office. The research instrument was a 5-level Likert scale questionnaire with an IOC value between 0.80 and 1.00 The reliability coefficient was 0.88, and a structured interview questionnaire was used. Statistical analyses included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, and pairwise comparisons using Scheffé's method.
The research findings revealed that:
- The overall management of vocational student experience training in collaboration with businesses by the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Vocational Education Office was at a high level.
- A comparison of opinions regarding the management of vocational training experiences for students in collaboration with businesses, conducted by the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Vocational Education Office, categorized by age and work experience, revealed that overall, there was no significant difference. However, when categorized by position, there were statistically significant differences at the .05 level.
- Guidelines for promoting the management of vocational student internship programs in collaboration with businesses, implemented by the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Vocational Education Office, include planning, organizing, implementation and monitoring, and evaluation and reporting.
