Abstract
This research aims to 1) study the strategic leadership of school administrators under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5, and 2) compare the level of opinions of personnel regarding the strategic leadership of school administrators under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5, classified by position, age, and school size. 3) To study the guidelines for promoting strategic leadership development among school administrators under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5. The sample group for this research consisted of 339 school administrators and teachers. The research instrument was a 5-level Likert scale questionnaire with a content validity index between 0.80 and 1.00 The reliability coefficients of the entire questionnaire and the structured interview were 0.98. Statistical analyses included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test.
The research findings revealed that:
- The strategic leadership of school administrators under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5, overall, was at a high level.
- A comparison of opinions on strategic leadership among school administrators in the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5, categorized by position, showed statistically significant differences at the .05 level both overall and in specific aspects. However, there were no significant differences overall when categorized by age and school size.
- Guidelines for promoting strategic leadership development among school administrators under the Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 5 include: strategic direction setting, resource management and strategy implementation, control, evaluation, and strategic learning.
