Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) examine the level of innovative leadership among school administrators; (2) investigate the level of teachers as educational innovators; (3) analyze the relationship between school administrators’ innovative leadership and teachers as educational innovators; and (4) determine the predictive power of innovative leadership on teachers as educational innovators. The sample comprised 288 participants under the Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in the academic year 2025, including school administrators and teachers. The sample size was determined using Krejcie and Morgan’s table. Stratified random sampling based on school size was employed, followed by simple random sampling. The research instruments consisted of the innovative leadership questionnaire for school administrators and the teachers as educational innovators questionnaire, with reliability coefficients of 0.964 and 0.911, respectively. The index of item-objective congruence (IOC) ranged from 0.80 to 1.00. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis-enter method.

The findings revealed that: (1) the overall level of innovative leadership among school administrators was high; (2) the overall level of teachers as educational innovators was high; (3) innovative leadership among school administrators was positively correlated with teachers as educational innovators at the 0.01 level of statistical significance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.844; and (4) innovative leadership among school administrators significantly predicted teachers as educational innovators at the 0.01 level of statistical significance, accounting for 71.50% of the variance. The predictive equation in raw scores was:  = -0.464 + 0.249(X1) + 0.232(X2) + 0.211(X3) + 0.184(X4) + 0.227(X5), and the predictive equation in standardized scores was:  = 0.297( ) + 0.282( ) + 0.272( ) + 0.239( ) + 0.270( )
