Abstract
This study aimed to: 1) examine the level of academic administration of school administrators in the Sida Educational Quality Development Network under the Office of Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area 6; and 2) compare academic administration as perceived by teachers with different lengths of work experience. The sample consisted of 103 teachers selected through simple random sampling based on the Krejcie and Morgan table. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire with an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) ranging from 0.67 to 1.00 and an overall reliability coefficient of 0.99. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and independent samples t-test.
The findings revealed that:
1) the overall and aspect-specific levels of academic administration were rated at a high level; and
2) when classified by work experience, there was a statistically significant difference at the .05 level in overall academic administration. A significant difference was also found in the aspect of educational media and technology development and utilization, with teachers having 10 years or more of experience reporting higher mean scores than those with less than 10 years of experience.
