THE JOB SATISFACTION AND WORK PERFORMANCE TOWARDS ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA

Abstract
In the digital era, where technology plays a significant role in driving organizations, enhancing employee work performance has become an important factor in organizational adaptation and development toward sustainable transformation. This article aims to synthesize literature related to the concepts of job satisfaction and work performance toward organizational transformation in the digital era. The author aims to provide information and general knowledge on job satisfaction and work performance toward organizational transformation in the digital era for scholars, researchers, senior executives, and individuals involved in driving organizations toward digitalization, as a guideline for promoting and continuously improving employee performance, enabling them to cope with and adapt to various changes, as well as preparing employee capabilities in order to achieve organizational goals and develop organizations sustainably in the digital era. Based on the synthesis of the literature, it was found that job satisfaction has a positive relationship with work performance and serves as an important mechanism in supporting organizational transformation in the digital era, particularly in terms of technology acceptance, employee adaptability, and the enhancement of organizational competitiveness. The findings can be applied as an academic conceptual framework and a managerial guideline for organizational development.
