A STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF VIRUS DESTRUCTION ON THE CORONA (COVID-19) ON THE ORGANIZATION OF THE ONLINE TEACHING AND LEARNING SYSTEM OF MAHAMAKUT BUDDHIST UNIVERSITY SRITHAMMASOKRAT CAMPUS

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) To study the impact of the epidemic on the coronavirus (COVID-19) on the organization of online teaching and learning of students at Mahamakut Buddhist University, Sri Dharma Sokrajang Campus. (MBU.SSC) 2) To present the online teaching model in the context of the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic situation of students of MBU.SSC The sample group used in the research was 380 students from MBU.SSC, academic year 2020, which were obtained by purposive selection. The tool used to collect data was a questionnaire. Data was analyzed using a ready-made computer program. Statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

          The results of the research found that ; 1) The impact of the coronavirus disease  on the online teaching system of MBU.SSC, in all 4 aspects, was at a high level ( =3.72). When considering each aspect in order of average from highest to lowest, it was found that the feeling towards online learning had the highest average ( =3.75), followed by the feeling towards the curriculum ( =3.72), the feeling towards the instructor ( =3.71), and the feeling towards the students themselves had the lowest average ( =3.68), respectively. 2) Models of Online Teaching and Learning in the Context of the Corona virus Pandemic of MBU.SSC Students 1) Organizing joint training between teachers and students to understand how to use the platform for online teaching. Only Google Meet should be used because it is a platform that the university has purchased the copyright for. 2) Teachers have regulations for teaching and learning. Both parties must turn on the camera during online teaching in order to be able to evaluate learning behavior. 3) The campus and students should plan teaching and learning clearly. 4) Teachers responsible for the subjects should have an online channel for contacting students to communicate.
