A HOLISTIC ANALYSIS OF OCCUPATIONAL WELL-BEING AMONG TEACHERS UNDER THE NAKHON RATCHASIMA PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 5

Abstract

The purpose of this study was: 1) to examine the occupational well-being of teachers under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office 5, and 2) to investigate the occupational well-being of teachers within the same jurisdiction. The study population consisted of 338 participants, including school administrators and teaching staff, selected using stratified random sampling based on Krejcie and Morgan’s criteria. The research instrument was a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire, with content validity indices ranging from 0.67 to 1.00. The overall Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for the instrument was 0.82. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as inferential statistics, specifically the t-test and F-test.

        The results indicated that:

        1) The overall level of occupational well-being among teachers in the targeted area was high ( = 4.43).

          2) An analysis of differences in perceptions of occupational well-being according to educational qualification and length of service revealed no statistically significant differences, both overall and across individual dimensions (t = 1.14, p = .25).
