THE EVALUATION OF BRUSH UP YOUR BRAIN TOWARDS ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE PROJECT OF WATPLAGPLA SCHOOL UNDER NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFFICE 4

Abstract

This research article aims to 1) evaluate context, 2) evaluate implementation process, and 3) evaluate outcomes of The brush up your brain towards academic excellence project of Watplagpla School Under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area office 4. The sample group consisted of 175 participants, including school administrators, teachers, students, and students’ parents. The research instruments include questionnaire administered to all 175 participants and in-depth interviews conducted with 10 individuals. The statistical methods used for data analysis were mean and standard deviation. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis.

          The Research findings were as follows:

1. The overall evaluation of the project’s context was rated at the highest level. When considered by individual aspects, the greatest mean score was found project necessity, the lowest mean score was the project feasibility. The project demonstrated defined objectives aligned with the needs of relevant stakeholders. It aimed to enhance students’ academic achievement and develop key competencies across various domains. Furthermore, the project was supported by sufficient personnel, budget, and learning materials, rendering it both appropriate and conducive to fostering students’ potential in a comprehensive manner.


2. The overall evaluation of the project’s implementation process was rated at the highest level. When analyzed by specific aspects, the highest mean score was found the implementation of project activities, the lowest was project improvement and development. The project was carried out systematically with clearly defined goals that aligned with the school’s policies and the learners’ needs. The activities were age-appropriate and designed to foster a range of skills, including analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. As a result, students became more enthusiastic and confident in expressing themselves. The assessment processes were comprehensive and effectively reflected learning outcomes. Moreover, the integration of technology and educational games, along with the emphasis on increasing student participation, contributed to the project’s overall effectiveness.


3. The overall evaluation of the project’s outcomes was rated at the highest level. When considered by individual aspects, the highest mean score was academic achievement, the lowest was in competencies. Participation in the project clearly contributed to improved academic performance among students. Notable development was observed in students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Students were able to apply the knowledge gained from the project to real-life situations. Moreover, they demonstrated increased confidence in expressing their thoughts and opinions with reasoned judgment.
