THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION IN A VUCA WORLD AND THE USE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN SCHOOLS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE SURIN

Abstract
This study aimed to examine: 1. the current state of school administration in a VUCA world in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Surin; 2. the current state of digital technology utilization in these schools; and 3. the relationship between school administration in a VUCA world and digital technology use. The sample consisted of 70 schools selected from a total population of 85 using stratified random sampling based on school size. Respondents included one school administrator and four teachers per school, totaling 350 participants. A five-point Likert scale questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.98 was used for data collection. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient.
The findings indicated that:
- The overall state of school administration in a VUCA world in school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Surin was at a high level.
- The overall utilization of digital technology in these schools was also at a high level.
- School administration in a VUCA world had a very high correlation with digital technology use, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level ("r" = 0.95).
