This study examines how an archaeological site park can function as an informal cross-cultural learning space through art-based heritage education. Taking the Archaeological Site Park of the Haihun Marquis of the Han Dynasty in Nanchang as a qualitative case, it analyzes how heritage interpretation, exhibition narratives, ritual performance, participatory activities, embodied routes, and digital communication support visitors' understanding of cultural difference and historical memory. Data were drawn from policy and planning texts, archaeological and exhibition materials, field observations, semi-structured interviews, 381 online questionnaires, 55 offline questionnaires, and user-generated social media content. Reflexive thematic analysis was used to synthesize the data. The findings show that the site park produces learning through six linked mechanisms: heritage interpretation, art-based participation, embodied experience, cross-cultural understanding, identity reflection, and sustainable educational governance. The study contributes to heritage education by extending cross-cultural learning beyond classroom-based multicultural education and by proposing a practical model for evidence-based, participatory, and conservation-sensitive public learning. in Chinese archaeological site parks.
