This study aims to: 1. Examine the influence of network embeddedness on the competitive advantage of Chinese cross-border logistics enterprises. 2. Investigate the influence of network embeddedness on dynamic capability, including sensing capability and integration capability. 3. Examine the mediating role of dynamic capability in the relationship between network embeddedness and competitive advantage. This study employed a quantitative research approach. Data were collected from 274 managers and deputy managers of Chinese cross-border logistics enterprises through questionnaire surveys. Hierarchical regression analysis was conducted using SPSS 29.0 and AMOS 26.0.

The research results found that:

  1. Network embeddedness, including relational embeddedness and structural embeddedness, has a significant positive effect on competitive advantage.

  2. Network embeddedness has a significant positive effect on dynamic capability, including sensing capability and integration capability.

  3. Dynamic capability has a significant positive effect on competitive advantage and plays a mediating role in the relationship between network embeddedness and competitive advantage.

This study contributes to the literature by integrating Network Embeddedness Theory and Dynamic Capability Theory within the context of Chinese cross-border logistics enterprises. The findings provide practical implications for managers seeking to strengthen competitive advantage through network development and capability enhancement.
