QUALITY OF WORKING LIFE AND PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS AFFECTING ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT OF POLICE OFFICERS IN CHACHOENGSAO PROVINCE

Abstract
This study aims to 1) Examine the levels of quality of work life and psychological factors influencing organizational commitment among police officers in Chachoengsao Province; 2) Investigate the level of organizational commitment among police officers in Chachoengsao Province; and 3) Explore how the quality of work life and psychological factors affect organizational commitment among police officers in the province. This research employed a mixed-methods approach. The sample consisted of 240 commissioned and non-commissioned police officers in Chachoengsao Province, selected through simple random and purposive sampling techniques. The reliability coefficient of the research instrument was 0.96. The statistical methods used in this study included percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The results of the study found that 1) The quality of life at work in the overall view of all aspects is at the highest level. When considered as an aspect, it is found that the quality of life at work is at the highest level. These include: adequate income and fair remuneration; a safe and healthy environment; progress and stability; good working relationships; democracy in an organization; work-life balance; pride in a socially valuable organization. 2) Commitment to the organization in the overall picture is at the highest level. When considered as a list, it is found that the most averaged aspects are attitudes towards social norms and behavior. 3) Quality of Working Life and Psychological Factors Affecting Organizational Commitment of Police Officers in Chachengsao Province found that the quality of working life and psychological factors affecting organizational commitment of police officers in Chachengsao Province were statistically significant at a level of 0.01.
